While crossing the lake, a mother and her daughter fell into the water and died in the incident which took place in Vaddarahalli lake of Chikkamagaluru taluk. Fortunately, the son who was with him survived.

Shobha (40) and her daughter Varsha (8) were killed. His son Chetan, who was with him, survived.

Mother, daughter and son had gone to graze cattle. While crossing the lake, daughter Varsha fell into the water. The mother who came forward to save her daughter was also drowned. Fortunately, son Chetan, who was with his mother, survived.

A case has been registered in the Chikmagalur rural police station.
